This product is very bright. When I mean very bright I mean that it illuminates everything. This is especially useful on dark roads, especially in my case when it's raining when you have really clear vision when turning at night. However, there are BUGS: after you've left the lights on for a while, they start hyperflashing. I was skeptical at first that they have built in resistors but after installing and using it I could be sure because there was no Hyperflash. However, in my taillight housings they were very bright and glaring, although I might have had to smoke them out to reduce glare/reflections for other drivers. Edit: I had the opportunity to fit the bulbs in my wife's car and they work as advertised. I can't tell if that's because the load circuit built into the bulb was sufficient for their car and the included load resistors are still needed for other cars, but they definitely include the load circuit and driver in the bulb.
