Get rid of everyday tasks

I bought it in a slim jar mainly to start with. This speeds up the shuffling of things. It also helps clean the sides of the glass. I could see where this could be a problem for someone with big hands, but this works great with my small hands.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Useless features

Definitely a niche product but just what I needed

I already have a large (literally) selection of spatulas and spatulas, but I wanted something specific to small jars of tomato paste and bottles of Thai curry paste. This does the job perfectly, and I'll probably use it for regular sized glasses from now on. The tip is flexible enough to get into the curves of cans, but overall the handle and blade are stiff enough to scoop and scrape things like peanut butter, tahini, honey, and sweetened condensed milk. No more waste!

Stress cracks in the spatula. And it's not hygienic.

2 1/2 years of "lightweight" home use, in a desk drawer. Sometimes deleted by D/W, mostly by hand. Not used for high heat cooking. Basically removing a can of PB or mayonnaise. From time to time I mix salad with tuna. I have many OXO kitchen products and none have failed this early in their life cycle. There are several cracks on the handle neck. and at least one in the "spoon" itself. Making the spatula unsanitary. I've been a loyal OXO customer for decades because it was worth the extra…

The best kitchen cleaning tool, not just for glasses!

I don't know how many different spatulas I bought to clean the blades in the lid and container of my inner sphere, but they still left a lot of food behind. My husband needs to puree food and after pureeing and scooping out the food there was so much food left on the blades and bottom of the container that I couldn't get out. I finally found this at Revain, OXO Good Grips Jar Spatula. It has a flexible end, is easy to use, has a long handle and takes 99% of everything out of the container and I

Treat it like a consumable

This product will have its pros and cons as it relates to my specific needs: I have to preface this with the fact that I use it more than an average person; I have a small one person bakery that I run so they see a lot of action. For home use, my main concern probably won't be too much of a problem. Pros: * They're really easy to keep clean * They reach into small areas and tight corners * Nice and strong, they don't flex at the handle but flex at the scraper edges. The scraper/blade mount is…

piss off! The NEW design is terrible!

Disappointed! The NEW design is terrible! The scratch sides are too thick, the tip is straight instead of curved, and worst of all, it's too stiff to fit the bumps in the bottom of some glasses and the curves around the neck. I had several OLD design models and they were perfect for their purpose. They effortlessly cleaned the cans from top to bottom. The only downside to the old design was that the cutting edge was thinner and therefore more delicate and could easily be cut or nicked with…

This is a review of the OXO Good Grips Jar Spatula. after mixing on the sides and bottom of the Vitamix. I not only bought this spatula, but also the iSi Basics silicone thin spatula, red, and the Vitamix spatula, a set of 3. Of the three spatulas, the Vitamix spatula was clearly the worst. Overpriced, inflexible and did a terrible job of what a spatula is supposed to do scraping the surface being cleaned. The OXO Jar spatula has a silicone coated head and shaft. Black pen - santoprene. The…

One of those products that everyone should have.

I wanted a scraper that is thin and fits in small jars and containers to scrape out small bits. I looked around the local shops and didn't find anything I really liked. So I checked out Revain and found this one. For example, an all-in-one scraper head with a handle is less likely to harbor germs and mold than those with a detachable head. The head is neither too big nor too long. About the right size. Thus, both sides and the tip can be used to break open cans. For example the way the scraper…
