Large OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Mat - Enhance Your Sink with Quality and Grip Review

I like that it's made of silicone and can withstand hot dishes, unlike my previous OXO sink protector. They're also dishwasher safe, making them easy to keep clean. The two fit perfectly together in my sink. The pre-cut drain holes didn't match up, but the mat cuts easily and I was able to carve a crescent into each mat to create a drain. It also looks great.

I took the opportunity and bought this to replace my old sink rug. wow i love it! Keeps dishes off the porcelain base allowing liquid to drain down the sink drain. The cut out drain feature is nice because it is more customizable. I cut out the cutout to work as a drink pad. I just throw the rug in the dishwasher to clean it. Works perfectly. I put it on the bottom shelf and it comes through clean as a whistle.

I was trying to find something similar to my 33x22 sink. Apparently this product does not exist. However, two of these small sizes work just fine. There is a small gap on the sides but not big enough to bother me. I have a feeling a large size would work as well; it would just wrap around the sides a bit. Haven't had it long enough to see it clearly and stand up, but for first impressions it's fantastic.

Less than 2 months after cleaning the underside of the mat a few times, the dirt is back. Not polite. The back of the mat always feels slippery and you can see the dark dirt underneath. This is a great kitchen sink mat. I can't believe I've been struggling with my old plastic mat for a few years now. This appears to be impenetrable to food sticking to it. It's in the ideal position with legs sticking out so it stays on the bottom of the sink, making it easy to rinse out dirt and let it dry quickly. So there are three "potential holes" you can cut, depending on where the drain is. When I first put this rug in the sink, none of the three patterns on the rug worked. As a result, I stopped between the middle and the top. I simply cut out the picture of the sink drain that came with the rug, placed the rug in the sink where I wanted it, then used the template I cut out to draw around the hole I wanted and then cut it out . This is the second rug we have bought for our sink and we love it. I basically chose this version so we could put hot pots/pans in the sink and not worry about messing things up. It's also really nice for preventing more delicate items from breaking (our cat usually knocks dishes off the counter into our sink when we leave something behind). I love this item! I have a 23 x 18 stainless steel under the sink and the rug fits perfectly. Before that, I went through the two lower stainless steel grilles. Every time I've looked closely at these stainless steel grates, I've been shocked at how much black goo has accumulated on them and dismayed at how long it took to really get them clean.
