When OXO offered their original peeler I was glad they helped me with lots of strawberries but was confused by its knob and not quite right mechanics. Now they've simplified the design to look like a cross between a tube and giant, sturdy tweezers, and it's a dream come true! Fast, simple, efficient and easy to clean. I love this company because they not only invent using science, they also rethink until they get it right.

Well done. I wanted to replace my old peelers (they belonged to my grandmother) as I plan to keep them for my grandchildren. It's quick, easy, and really reduces the loss of good berries by using "big bit" peels. Convenient to use, easy to clean. Should last for many years. A tip: There are small transparent soft plastic covers at the tips. Remove before use as my husband found out. Very happy with this purchase, the product is much better than what I found in local stores.
