🔒 Versatile and Secure: OXO Good Grips 8 Cup Smart Seal Glass Rectangle Container Review

How good is this glassware? I've tried all the big brands and this is what I found. Literally 10 plus brands. We cook, store and pack a lot and prefer glass. We've baked, cleaned and cooked in these and others and the only brand that has stood up to the daily wash and reuse is OXO, they are absolutely stunning! Note. Some stamps are impossible to clean if left sealed for a day or two. Not OXO, for some reason it's incredibly easy to clean, no hard cleaning work required. It's cool I'm for life!

The first thing I did when I received two of these containers was fill them about half full with water. I turned one over and laid the other on its edge, both on the paper towel so I could see any leaks. Every time I passed, I would take both and shake them a little. Result: After 4 hours, about 1 teaspoon flowed from one, not at all from the other. I purchased these large containers and the OXO Rectangular Container Set and they met my expectations. Once you get used to locking the lids (you may have to flip the lid if it won't lock), it's clear you're swimming in the freezer. I'm buying these 10 at a time to eventually replace all of my plastic containers and freezer bags. . So far there have been no broken handles, seals or glass. I tried another brand and they started breaking right away so I'm sticking with OXO.

I had high hopes that OXO would normally do a good job with their products, but it seems that for the love of money they have changed their approach. The container broke in the freezer with food already inside, so a wasteful endeavor. I have bought cheaper glass jars from Fine Dine through Amazon and they have held up better at a much lower price. Do yourself a favor and buy cheaper ones and just replace them when they break as more expensive ones like these don't equate to a better product…
