🥗 Green OXO Salad Dressing Shaker - Convenient One-Size Design Review

I love making my own salad dressings so I always have them on hand to add variety to our salads. This smaller OXO Dressing Shaker is perfect for measuring ingredients and has a convenient lid. I gave it four stars because you need to be sure to close the lid securely before shaking and pouring. Otherwise you will end up with an oily mess. (The large size is fine too, but it takes up more fridge space and holds more spices than we can eat before they go bad.)

I love this little dispenser except it gets dirty easily. I use it to make a raw apple cider vinegar and honey tonic with hints of cinnamon and turmeric. Turmeric naturally colors almost everything. However, I was hoping that this plastic would be more dirt-repellent. (I hadn't soaked it in bleach at the time of this photo, but it still looked the same afterwards.) It also seals tight, doesn't drip, and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. We also have a larger one and it works the same way.

I usually like Oxo products but this shaker feels poorly designed. We usually use a jar to mix the salad dressing but thought it would be easier. The top spout is an odd design because when you pour the refill it goes up resulting in a lot of refill ending up on top of the cap. Hole if it had a larger diameter I think it would work better.
