More technique is required.

Does not completely separate the core from the segments. To finish what you started, you must ? and finish the process with your fingers (dangerous at best). I expect more from Oxo.

The best I've tried so far.

I love this apple slicer and would buy it again, but I have a suggestion: you let the medium round blade fall just a hair BELOW the height of the plastic handle, because that happens to me: I push, but the slicer don't cut the apple all the way through.

Maybe this works if you have small hands and cut small apples.

The product looks good. And it seems decently well built. But it is very difficult to use it for its intended purpose. Here are the problems: 1. The overall weight of the tool is too light and the handles are too small. Makes it difficult to actually generate power for nutrition through the apple. My 12 year old can't eat an apple.2. The size of the hole in the center is too small to actually core a medium sized apple. We always have to cut the most slices in addition.3. The slices and cores do
