Mounting bracket on the lamp body is careless. There is no way to tighten it. My guess is that over time things will deteriorate to the point where they will fail; especially in the field. It's a shame because otherwise I'm really impressed with these lights. Considering the price, I'll use them until they fail. Put them on my BMW R1200GSA. I bought these because of my bike's terrible factory headlight. I can't believe I waited so long to buy extra headlights! I literally went blind at night with low beams on. These headlights illuminate the road incredibly well, consume very little battery and still look great. For a fraction of the cost of a light bar. I love her. I literally drove in the dark before they showed up. Now I'm looking forward to nightfall to see these lights in action!

I put this on my motorcycle road handlebars and went for a ride. Halfway through (about 70 miles) the screw that attaches the light to the bracket came loose and the light hung on the cable by the cross bars (see photos). The light was bright and I was thrilled when I installed it to improve visibility on the road, but was disappointed on the first ride. I've already done the wiring and bought the clamps so now I need to find out what other light of the same wattage will work for me.

Friday 17th September 2021 On my first set of amber LEDs the screw holding the two sections together fell out and one of my lights was dangling and almost touching the front wheel/wheel, very dangerous. Don't get me wrong, these lights are really great. However, two stars deducted due to faulty wiring in the wiring harness connector. After troubleshooting the non-working lights, it was determined that the black wires were actually positive; red minus. Cut off the connecting harness and wiring - now they work and look great and also give off a very light 'dotted' pattern. They are very compact - finding headlights on the boat wasn't difficult. Installed them on a 1970 BMW R75/5 which actually has better headlights than a lot of new bikes - I bought them mainly for the lighting. Their effectiveness is amazing.
