1997 Mark VIII with JLB application

FYI that might help. This works great in a 1997 Mark VIII LSC with a JBL OEM system. I used a JVC KD-X470BHS head unit and kept the factory amp (F5LF18C807-AA). I had to reconnect the 4 wires (Purple/Purple Black and Green/Green Black) to the black connector as instructed/detailed in the instructions. I used the "high level" inputs (black bars) on the ROEM-FRD2 since the JVC is 50W x 4 channels. According to the manual, the "low-level" inputs (red bars) are for radios up to 25W x 4 channels…

Good seller, good delivery

Good seller, good delivery, just didn't suit my city car. I have a special city car that had a factory wiring issue. I had to use a wire harness and hard wire the speakers to another wire harness.

Pros
  • System interface for replacing factory receivers and integrating factory amplifiers
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I like the detail and the price but I did not receive.

I like the part and the price but I was not given a wiring diagram or owner's manual. Makes it unusable for its intended purpose. Can someone send me instructions or do I get a refund?

Pros
  • For some Ford vehicles with JBL & Mach audio systems
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

color coded cables easily connect to secondary radio

Plugs directly into two factory sockets, color coded cables easily connect to secondary radio. I had to move the wires on the 16-pin speaker connector. The instructions that came with the kit said I might have to do this, but it was an easy task. All 4 speakers work, radio works, factory amp works. This is a great kit and when I look at the manufacturer's website I see that they have other vehicles that get upgrades with their products.

Pros
  • Release Cable Included
Cons
  • Extended Offer
