Don't be fooled

I bought a roem-gm21a but got a roem-gm21 instead that doesn't fit in my car. The whole reason I ordered the roem-gm21a is that it is exactly what I needed.

Must use factory amp

After some searching on YouTube I decided on this for my 2000 Escalade to keep the Bose factory amp working. It was an extremely easy setup. Just connect the colors. There are 4 high + wires on the connector on the stereo side that you just connect to the low + wires. There is enough space on the dashboard for the interface. $34 worth!

Pros
  • Lighting and Electrical
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great way to get an aftermarket HU in your GM

I bought this to install a Pioneer head unit in my '95 Camaro with a factory Bose stereo. My Bose died but I wanted to keep my existing speakers and cables. When I bought this unit I made the mistake of ordering the ROEM-GM21A when I should have ordered the ROEM-GM21. The only difference is the wiring harness that connects the interface to the factory wiring. The PAC didn't help much, but I was able to find a PDF online showing how to convert a GM21A to a GM21 harness. Basically, it's a paper…
