An essential item for your renovation.

I have a 2011 Jeep Liberty Limited Edition. I installed Alpine ILX-W650. This allowed me to keep the controls on the steering wheel and saved myself the hassle of connecting stock wiring harnesses. Gives you a description of what each wire does and all I had to do was match it to my new head unit's schematic. I haven't tried reprogramming the buttons, but the fact that you can is so cool.

Pros
  • Easy Install

  • Quick Start Guide

Works designed by: Handlebars & Accessories

I doubted it would work but it does exactly what it says on the tin. The only problem I had was connecting the amp wire to the blue fuse on my amp because I didn't have an amp so for that. I installed a JKU on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler with an A6 and used SWC cables with a "#" on the label. The only thing that disappointed me was that there was only one short press <less than 1.5s and one long press> more. I thought there was a setting for double click.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Installed and everything worked. The next day my car battery was dead. I charged the battery. Once the battery was on and charged, the stereo worked perfectly. The next day the battery was dead again. I checked my wiring again and everything looked fine. Eventually I gave up and went to a local stereo installer. I watched them try to shoot him. The component itself was defective. They replaced PAC and made the same connections. It worked. I missed the return deadline, so it's my loss. All other

Great, all buttons on the steering wheel are preserved

so I decided to fit this new radio on my 2015 Jeep Patriot Crutchfield said I need this module I am sure the module comes with instructions easy to read and understand and when you do the wiring MAKE SURE WHAT YOU KNOW IF YOUR CAR HAS A FACTORY AMPLIFIER ANYWHERE OR NO I made the mistake of thinking I had a boston speaker system and literally had to redo the speaker wiring, just to adjust all colors. but this thing requires no programming if you set the dial to the correct brand of head unit…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

PAC modules from now on.

This device replaced the previously installed ADS Maestro for several reasons. This unit alone holds the rear entertainment system in my 300c, the Maestro doesn't. Another reason is that ADS has no idea how to fix this problem and when I bought Maestro it promised to keep some other features but it didn't happen. It was supposed to store the information sent by the GU to the EVIC, but it didn't. PAC Radio Pro too, as far as I know, but didn't claim it would. According to my installer, the RP4…
