Ideal for installing tire pressure sensors on a dual tire.

They did the trick of pointing the air valve to the outside of the rim to install tire pressure sensors. Pump up the tire a few pounds as you will release as much as you attach the extra stem to the original stem while it is seated. Be sure to check the fitting with a bubbler after you're done to make sure there aren't any air leaks!

Pros
  • Valve Stems and Caps
Cons
  • Tape

Will not fit my twin wheels

These valve stems, while geometrically correct and structurally adequate, only have a knurled nut for attachment to existing valve stems. It is very difficult for my twin wheel truck to attach these extensions tightly enough for comfort. When I first bought it I thought the nuts were flat so you could tighten them with an open end wrench enough to be reliable. Keep in mind that if these extensions come loose at all, the tire will slowly deflate.

Pros
  • Tires and Wheels
Cons
  • Almost never

The 180Β° extensions didn't work - they leak.

Bought 180Β° and 3" straight extensions. Installed 180Β° extensions on the outer twins of my 40ft diesel slider at the tire shop when I had new tires installed and my Flow TPMS sensors installed. Tires fitted new stems fitted inflated to 110psi stem extensions fitted TPMS sensors fitted fitted then wheel was computer balanced and fitted to the bus After 2 days the outer twin wheels dropped to 52psi and TPMS was alarming as crazy!Couldn't tighten the extensions on the valve stems to stop them…
