As expected. Works great. Shaft not knurled like Toyota OEM (for 1993 Land Cruiser) but it was easy to sweat on the brass gear. Made me hundreds of dollars saved!

item was well packaged and worked as advertised. Bought these motors to replace a broken door lock/latch mechanism on my 2010 Prius. The length on the shaft is 20 mm, which was also necessary. Although you sanded the flat side of the shaft to fit the plastic worm gear. The first engine was cleaned up nicely, the second engine was on the loose side but there were no problems. They worked great on my daughter's 2008 Prius. I used my dremel to change the shaft. I held the shaft in a vise while I sanded with a dremel. There are many videos on YouTube that explain all this. The whole job took 37 minutes.

Great price, great product but this is NOT a Toyota OEM part. The genuine Toyota OEM door lock actuator has a flat side on a steel shaft. The "so-called" door lock actuator that ships OEM has a rounded steel shank. I had a portable grinder and needed to grind a steel shaft like an OEM Toyota drivetrain that was removed and replaced.

I bought these to replace the power lock motors in both front doors on my 2010 Prius. I was under the impression that they would be too long, but they are not. All I had to do was file the flat side of the motor pin to fit the removed motors. I did this with a dremel and it took about 20 seconds for each motor. If you're replacing the lock motors in your 2010 Prius' lock actuator, this is for you!

Motor worked great in my 2009 Toyota Venza drivers door. The power lock stopped working and the engine fixed it. You will need to saw off the shaft with a hacksaw to fit the original and saw the flat part of the shaft to fit the original motor's gear. The hardest part is removing the lock from the inside of the door. Dismantling the lock assembly is not difficult once you understand how to disassemble it.
