I have just received this set of 5 shorts and as you can see I have received 2 black/red shorts and the white ones are missing. The size I bought states 8-10. My son is 8 years old and quite skinny. I can assure you that by the age of 9, and especially by the age of 10, that narrow belt probably won't be very comfortable anymore. As in other reviews, this one is a bit visible and doesn't fit perfectly, to wear to school you need them for that. i will send it back

My first observation was that there were threads sticking out at the side seams, which I ignored as they weren't a huge problem even though the shorts looked a little cheaper. I washed them immediately and followed all the label instructions. I took the first pair out of the washing machine - one of the waist cords went so far into the hole that I couldn't get it out.
