Poor breathing mode, too fast

I bought this for the beacon in breath mode. Other LEDs I've used have a nice slow and steady breathing pattern, but this one is fast and unnatural. I would rate a little faster one per second. If it were Hertz, I'd say around 1.4 Hz. I was disappointed as it doesn't look right to be that fast.

Not bright but nice red flame for the price.

I can't say anything about the durability as I haven't had it long. However, due to the placement of this and other flame lamps I've tried, they have been exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, extreme heat and cold. These are the only ones I've had that didn't disappoint in these conditions. So I think their durability is higher in inclement weather compared to others in the price range. If you are looking for a super bright flame lightbulb, I would go further…

Violet? A slightly less flashy purple than catalog photos might lead buyers to believe.

The listing image shows a light that produces a strong, intense purple glow. Fantastic, I thought, because that's exactly what I need. , a washed out pastel purple glow that was so disappointing I thought the first two bulbs I ordered must have been from a defective batch. But when I sent them back for exchange I got the same result. The company's green flame light is excellent in comparison. , and their blue flame light is pretty good too. But try something else if you want to render images…
