So far I have found that these forms work quite well. I use them a little differently than intended - using the exposed surface as the top rather than the bottom, which requires some extra work after the shape. I've noticed that the sides tend to warp under the weight of the epoxy so I put some straight edge blocks next to it to reinforce the sides and that solves that problem. I'll probably buy more if they last long.

I recently bought these coaster molds to add new items to my small shop and I have already placed 2 orders with them. The shapes are precisely measured, perfectly cut and the bottom cross makes them comfortable for the resin I add. The coasters are shiny and thick, very good quality.

Absolutely not heat resistant. If you burst the air bubbles I am your resin with a flashlight, the mold will melt into resin and cannot be removed from the mold. It probably works well with other substances, but definitely not with resin where you would need to use a torch. Very disappointed, money wasted. :-(

If used on resin, unwrapped hexagonal coasters will have surface scratches and marks that will show on your paintwork. The silicone shouldn't be stained because you'll need to add an extra step to cover it with icing. However, since these are overlays, I don't recommend this as you lose the depth of the stand's cavity. Send back!
