Sturdy but not as high quality as expected

Very sturdy, but thought these were like the ones from home depot which is more expensive and I just got a great deal, but these are not as strong as the home depot ones. They will last so I'm very happy with them still, but the cores are different and it's not discussed on the description

Pros
  • Does what I needed them for. Needed support for my lilies, orchids and irises.
Cons
  • Not stiff enough to withstand flexing

Very nice! And the price! Just buy them you wont regret it!

Nice price as these are $3 a piece at local HD. I have a lot of vegetable and these help keep my plants growing straight up off the ground and healthy. They are metal inside and coated with plastic, but it's a thick coat of plastic. Set them side by side with all plastic and you cant tell or feel a difference. Easy to use, ya poke them in the ground🙃💯

Pros
  • The sharp, pointed end of the stakes allows for easy insertion into soil or other surfaces, reducing strain on your hands and arms
Cons
  • The stakes may become unstable if not firmly anchored in the ground.

No more mud! on my review.

Just trying to keep pets out of the mud and these stakes were just the thing to make it happen. They were easy to stick in the ground and were sturdy enough to hold the fence in place. Best part was budget friendly.

Pros
  • Each package contains 25 sturdy steel stakes. Dimensions: 7/16 inch diameter, 60 inch long.
Cons
  • Their length may make them difficult to manage or maneuver during installation.

If you need to hold up a lightweight plant , this is the product for you. If you're trying to hold up something more sturdy like fencing, it will snap in half guaranteed. It is hollow in the middle and not durable AT ALL. Thinking this was solid "steel" I purchased this as a lower cost option to re-bar as support for a hoop house and the post snapped almost immediately. I will still use these for plant supports, just won't be able to use them as a fencing post. Even if using lightweight plastic

Pros
  • The pack's lightweight design makes it easy to transport and store when not in use
Cons
  • They may be prone to corrosion or deterioration if left damp or wet for extended periods.

Great for garden in my review

Used these to prop up some dash los and they worked great. I like the green because they don’t stand out so much. They may not be suitable for use with all types of plants or gardening techniques.!

Pros
  • 60 x 2.76 x 2.76 inches
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for use with all types of plants or gardening techniques.

Weak, and poor design

Easily bend with wind force. Both sides are the same and have a flimsy rubber cover. So if you pound them in with a rubber mallet the rubber cover cuts through to the metal rod and it damages your rubber mallet. These are of significantly lower quality than the ones we bought from Aldi. I would look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • They may be difficult to transport if needed for gardening at remote locations.

Thin Steel. Not for heavy duty staking

I bought for Dahlia's which get very big and heavy. They would work fine for a lighter flower like Cosmos. They bend/bow easily. Had to use wooden stakes for the Dahlia's.

Pros
  • Sturdy and easy to install.
Cons
  • They may not be ideal for use in small or urban gardens.

Just what I needed on my review.

I’m not doing major construction so for my little home amateur garden, these stakes are holding up well & serving the purpose I need.

Pros
  • Good and easy if in softer area, but if not down deap enough and the wind picks up they dont last much!!
Cons
  • The sharp tips of the stakes may be harmful to pets or wildlife.

they work great in pots

Im using them to trellis my tomatoes that are in pots. Just stick three in, tie them together at the top and instant trellis. I'll run a string up from the plant to the top of the poles and train the tomato up

Pros
  • Does what it is supposed to do could be taller but it does the job
Cons
  • The stakes may rust and deteriorate over time, compromising their effectiveness.

FAIR WARNING - Delivery troubles (these come by Post Office)

The stakes arrived a few days ago except they didn't get delivered to me. I had to schlepp to the Post Office and wait in line 45 minutes to pick up this order. If I wanted to pick up the package I would have chosen that option. Hopefully your post office is able to actually deliver this to you because the stakes look GREAT, they are an AMAZING deal and I can't wait to get my project going BUT, if you aren't able to go fetch your order. fair warning.

Pros
  • With the strength and durability of these stakes, you can rest easy knowing your garden's plants are in good hands
Cons
  • Steel stakes may be difficult to recycle or repurpose once they are no longer needed

It's worth the purchase

I have a monstrous Bird of Paradise palm and this helps the poor plant support the weight of its giant leaves without breaking the stalks. It's a must have for giant houseplants.

Pros
  • Tingyuan
Cons
  • The stakes may be more difficult to install than other types of garden support structures.

Used to make a dog fence on a rental property

I got one pack of these and 200 feet of snow fencing. It makes a good sized space, the else 60 in stakes match with 4 foot fencing really well. It has been up for a week now and withstood a strong storm. If the dogs were determined to get out or to jump the fence, they could, and don't plan on leaving them unsupervised. The poles are plastic coated metal, with a pointed tip on both ends. I drove them into the ground with a regular hammer. These poles aren't the strongest, so I reinforced then…

Pros
  • Made from durable steel, they can withstand harsh weather conditions and resist rust and corrosion
Cons
  • The sharp points of the stakes may cause damage if accidentally dropped or mishandled.

Does the job good for me

I am using them to hang up my vanda orchids. One did bend and is no longer straight but I’m happy with this new way of displaying my plants

Pros
  • Holding up pretty well
Cons
  • They may not be strong enough to support particularly heavy or tall plants.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked for what I wanted

Drilled holes on raised bed to put chicken wire around to keep vine veggies from getting to ground. Pulled plastic tips off one end so could put in drilled holes easier. All in all good product for money.

Pros
  • Durable
Cons
  • They may not be suitable for use in areas with high levels of foot traffic.

Well . Guess ok for a soft well tilled Garden

Too flimsy for our rocky ground. Think the "steel" mentioned misled us when we thought the garden fenc we are installing would be served

Pros
  • A useful tool for novice and experienced gardeners alike, these stakes can make a noticeable difference in the health and growth of your plants
Cons
  • They may be prone to bending or snapping if subjected to physical stress.

So good I bought twice

They hold up a 2 foot fence along my yard. I wanted about a foot of the stake buried so I got longer onesThey work well so far, though ultimately they will break/bend if too much force is applied.

Pros
  • Ideal for gardeners who want to ensure their plants grow straight and upright, the stakes provide excellent support and stability
Cons
  • Steel stakes may cause glare in certain lighting conditions, detracting from their visual appeal.

Back for more! in my review

First ordered these in 2018 and they are still going strong. My garden keeps growing and this is my fourth order-again. Obviously I like them. They look brand new. Work as expected. No rust. Don’t bend. Critical part of garden design. I’m a happy customer.

Pros
  • The pointed end of the stakes makes them easy to insert into the ground, providing a secure foundation for your plants
Cons
  • Steel stakes may not be biodegradable, contributing to environmental waste.

Supports for plants

Use as directed and you should be satisfied. I use these to support my indoor potted top heavy aloes that are almost 2 ft tall. They’re sturdy and well built. Should last a long time.

Pros
  • 5.69 pounds
Cons
  • They may be too cumbersome to store during the off-season.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheaper than in stores

I needed about 10 of these for my super hot peppers that I’m growing. They were about $4 each in store for shorter ones. Luckily I found them on ebay for much cheaper. They went into the ground easily and were easy to prop up my pepper plants. They are loaded with peppers this year so I needed to stake the plants to prevent them from snapping

Pros
  • Work as advertised.
Cons
  • They may be prone to bending or warping if subjected to extreme weather conditions.

Excellent stakes! in my review

Very versatile, wrapped in a heavy duty plastic, height adjustable andwill last through many seasons.Highly recommend for all stages of plant, shrub and garden growth.

Pros
  • strong poles for my tomato plants
Cons
  • They may not be as flexible as other types of stakes, limiting their versatility.
