Reinforce the wiring!

Super simple to use in places other than a computer tower. They work well. However, the wiring broke on both of them at the point where the wire connect to the fan. On one, there was enough wire to strip and solder, but the other one I had to take the fan apart to resolder the cable back to the fan. Before using, I'd shore up the corner where the wire comes in with some extra hot glue or something.

These Fans are great !

Bought four of these fans I installed them into my closed tv stand Cabinet It’s doing an excellent job Keeping my gaming consoles and also my DVR and gateway modem cool . On my cabinet there are top and lower vent slots I installed two fans each side so each side has two top fans exhausting Air out while the bottle vent slots are lefted blank Just to draw cool air in . If I ever see to need to installed bottom fans to force more cool air in I’m buying these again! Great price for the value…

Used this to cool my entertainment center cabinet with my PS4 Pro

The PS4 Pro generates a decent amount of heat and with the door closed to my entertainment center, it would get REALLY HOT inside. Cut a hole in the back and mounted this over the hole, then plugged the USB directly into the PS4. Now the fan runs as long as the PS4 is on to keep the cabinet cool. Plus it's completely silent!

  • Only one keep my raspberry4 , between 30-40*c... efficent, but noisy...

  • A bit noisy, otherwise seems to be a well made product.

Fixed a overheating machine with a blown fan header

Worked great as a way to get a unit back up that was overheating due to the motherboard fan header not outputting power anymore. Plugged this in to a internal USB port and this fixed the overheating and saved a 8 year old computer from being scrapped.

No air flow on my review.

Checked both fans doesn't put out hardly any cfm's there is no way this will cool at 5v. Maybe they labeled then wrong and are 12v. Waste of money.

  • Doesn't blow like other similar fans I have. No power. Weak. Blades turn but very little air movement.

Cured PS4 overheating in entertainment center

My PS4 resides in a closed entertainment center. I used the usb fans as a supply and exhaust at the back of the entertainment center. The usb cables have sufficient length to route under the PS4 from the back and plug into the front. The fans receive power only when the PS4 is on.No more heat build up in the entertainment center!
