Ceiling fan remote battery works fine

Ok, the good and the bad.Good. Exact match for my ceiling fan remote that I couldn't find in any store. It's not a real common size and the supply chain made it worse. Snap it in and go. Don't know the life yet but it's a multi-pack so I have more.Bad. I only needed one, two at most. Since the original battery lasted a few years I don't know how much spark will be left in the rest when the first one dies. If you have multiple fans that use these then no worries but I one have the one.

  • this battery lasted only 7 days in a remote garage door opener.very poor life span.

Happy to find.: my feedback

Couldn't find these little buggers anywhere so was happy to see them on Best Buy. Just what I needed for ceiling fan remote. Good price, great warranty.

Shorter than a AAA but way more powerful

These little batteries are great they are actually a little smaller than a AAA but the same diameter. And they are 12 volt batteries

  • They fit and are a presented. Assume they will last for quite a while

  • The batteries are not recommended for use in extreme temperatures, limiting their usefulness in certain environments

Poor quality control - Missing battery

Showed up with 4 of the 5 batteries. The packaging was fully intact meaning this was a manufacturing issue that didn’t get caught.

Batteties work great.

Batteries arrived on time but was still unsure if they were the correct size. Tried them out upon arrival & they were the right size & they worked great.

Short life in remote.

Not so good. This battery only lasted 2 weeks. We changed it and the new one still only lasted a couple weeks in our our ceiling fan remote. The previous battery that came with our fan remote lasted a year or more.

Defective 12v remote controls

The item should work. Remote control devices seem not to work. Two of the last three are defective. And returning them are more trouble than they are worth.

  • Worked immediately. Did what they are supposed to do. Just got them so cannot comment on longevity.

  • I had one defective battery. Next two were ok. I will check other two.

Made in China best in my review

These appear to be good batteries and had 2025 expirations on them. My only initial complaint is that they are made in China. This information was not available on the product web site or on the product packaging or the product itself. I didn't find out until they arrived and it was on the envelope that the batteries are shipped in that's inside the box. I realize how difficult it is to completely avoid made in China items, but it would really help if suppliers would include this information on

Good to find these best in my review

I was happy to find these teeny, oddball batteries. The remote to the lamps needed them and and I was about to replace the whole plug. Glad I looked on Best Buy and found these for about a quarter of the cost of a new set-up. I put the spares away and hope I remember where I put them when the need arises. Great money saver.

gets the job done for my opinion

I needed this for my garage opener (looks like a half-length AAA). Package comes with 5 batteries at the same price as they sell at the stores for just a single one, so the purchase is a no-brainer. Not sure how the "5-year warranty" works, but this is an out-of-sight-out-of-mind kind of purchase, and it's working so far.

Died quickly - my new review

While they were the size that I needed and a good price.the batteries would work initially and then within a day or two (by the next time someone rang our doorbell) they didn't work. We don't get many people using our doorbell, so for them to die that quickly was really ridiculous. Poor quality.

Fantastic value - my new review

Do you have one of those remotes that has that battery that looks like a AAA battery? It runs out and you go to replace it and hey it’s smaller than the AAA. So you drive all over looking for this small but essential battery and finally find them at that 24 hour drug store for $6 a battery so with tax it’s over $12. Anyway you buy them because you have to have them. Anyway if you are like me I immediately started looking for another source of them. I went to Best Buy and found these. But…

Used three of the batteries, they all measured 1.5V on my dvm. Time will tell about longevity. Am satisfied with purchase.
