Lightbulb explodes, thick glass shade breaks

We have light fixtures in our bathrooms. One of the lamps exploded with a very loud and sharp click, shattering the thick glass shade and endangering us with flying glass fragments from the bulb and lampshade. Luckily we walked past it and the bathroom has a protruding wall that prevented the fragments flying around from hitting us. Shards of glass covered the bathroom counter, floor and entrance to the hallway for eight feet or more. Value for money is now negative as we have yet to find a…

Don't buy these books!

Received the lamps today. The first didn't work. The other three worked. I saw that the first one had some extra metal on the small side panel. I filed it down slightly so it was flush with the rest of the bulb and it worked. I noticed this because the bulb didn't screw straight in and seemed to tilt. The small metal tip was above the ceramic base. A little feed worked, but I wish it worked right away. Update: A lightbulb has been burned out for a little over a month. I will not buy again and…

They work. fits bulbs

I used these bulbs to replace a burned out fan bulb. The fit and brightness were perfect for the bulb I was replacing. After a few months of daily use, I put my fan on Away Mode (in which the lights randomly turn off during the day/night to simulate someone being home) for a weekend trip. When I got home and turned off the light, the lightbulb exploded. The bulb's filament was hanging out of the hole made when the bulb exploded, and the fan's glass dome now has a hole through which the bulb's…

They were brighter than the previous waste of money Ulight 5-6W LED bulb.

The bulbs are well received but they are not as bright as you would expect from a 100w bulb, nowhere near a standard 100w bulb. The glass dome of the lamp does not look like the photo. it is shorter. On the contrary they were brighter than the previous waste of money for a 5-6w Ulight LED bulb that claimed to be equivalent to a 60w incandescent but was horribly dim and flickering (unusable): https:// www.amazon. com/dp/B06X9TLF5M/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2. In contrast, the Q100CL/MC bulbs…

These bulbs look odd or unfinished

I ordered these bulbs in a pack of four and they arrived well packaged and earlier than expected but when I opened the box I found that one of them had jumped. I just wanted to write off the broken lightbulbs since they cost about $4 each, but when I opened them all up I realized they looked weird. The side of the bulb looks unfinished. It looks like the manufacturer inserted the glass piece into the base and then didn't completely seal the base with ceramic paste or glue. My old burned out…

Very important! Incandescent

I used to buy a $10 Philips T4 wall light from Home Depot (as shown in the attached picture). When I compare the amount of light from this regular bulb to a Philips bulb, they seem to have the same brightness (lumens) which is very important to me as I like them very bright. One of the differences between this universal lamp and the Philips lamp can be the power consumption. The Philips bulb's packaging says it's a 100-watt replacement, but it only uses 75 watts, while this regular bulb is 100…
