Seachem pH Alert: Long-lasting Freshwater Monitoring Devices (Pack of 3) Review

Colors on the sensor don't match. I can't tell what the actual readings (PH) are, so I still have to use my API test kit. Good idea, maybe I just got a bad batch? I do not know. read more reviews.

What a joke, put this on my discus tank, the color hasn't changed at all. I did a test kit for ammonia, ammonia was 4ppm, I took them out, threw them in the bin, had them in two other aquariums although it wasn't as important as the Discus aquarium. To be too good to be true.

Put in a common tank and after half an hour I thought it read 7.4. In less than 3 weeks the API kit shows a pH of 8 and the pH monitor has a color that isn't even on the wheel. I'll try to trade and I'll update this review when things get better.

I love the fast checkout process and the reliability they offer. Running tanks for 3 different types makes it easy to get a quick view between monthly tests with the API liquid test kit. Must be. Remember that they need to be replaced. I personally keep a few on hand for all my aquariums, and like the batteries in your smoke detector, which you need to change twice a year during the summertime (spring and fall), I replace both of my batteries at that time.
