Creases make them UNUSABLE or waste too much!

This is my first batch of these bags. They work great for the first few feet and then there are creases that make them impossible to seal. I end up cutting pockets with no creases, which means I lose 3-4 inches of material with each use. Once you get to the middle of the roll, it's 100% crumpled. With so much waste, it's cheaper to buy Foodsaver bags. Too bad they work great if it weren't for creases and waste.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Sometimes unsealed or later lost

These buns are cheaply made because they have wrinkles. So sometimes they don't close, and sometimes the seal fails later. I just got 4 packed meat dishes out of the freezer and found the latches didn't work and the meat was burnt in the freezer. And then when I tried to repackage the meat I had to throw away 4 new bags from a roll because the seal was leaking right after packing. .

25% problems with vacuum bags

i like the size of the roll, it fits my car perfectly. Where I have encountered an issue on two different orders is that the last 25% of each roll is crumpled. These creases often prevent a good seal, which you only realize when the product loses its vacuum seal after a few days and shows freezer burn. This has never been an issue with big name reels, but I hate paying 3x more. You can get around this by sealing each end twice, but that greatly increases the time it takes to wrap a lot of meat.

Durable but too wrinkled

These rolls are durable and have a durable feel. I had several rolls with obvious creases on my last two orders. These creases interfere with the seal by either preventing the bag from sealing or requiring the bag to be sealed twice. On my second order the supplier replaced the rolls which themselves were crumpled as above. My third order also had all four rolls badly dented so I sent them back on credit. On my last order I called the supplier but never got a reply. I then called Revain CS and…

I am here to buy another brand of bags.

These are in the trash now. Before I threw it in the trash, I noticed that these buns get worse and worse the closer they get to the core. I can only use about 15% of the buns because once you get into the flesh of the buns they shrink a lot. These roles get exponentially worse the more you engage with them. They're good the first few times you use them because the outermost layer is the least wrinkled. Wrinkling gets worse the deeper you go into the roll, making good compaction beyond the 15%…

Excellent quality product

These bags are great. I have a Foodsaver vacuum sealer which I really like. The buns are too big to stow in my car right away unless I have a lot of meat to pack. The bags cut easily with my cutter and I had no problems with bags leaking. I find these bags to be much better than branded seal bags. A good tip for storing food in a freezer: Use fabric to store food, like the polypropylene bags that advertisers often give away for free. I have a green chicken bag. 2 red bags for hamburger and…

Hit and miss Fits Me Special Vehicles

Indentations/channels embossed on one side are not as deep or pronounced as real food bags. My first order of 4 rolls worked fine for the most part, but my second and final order was a disappointment. That's about a 50/50 roll of the dice as to whether they will suck in and create a vacuum. My first rating was 5 stars and I was completely satisfied, but issues with this second order resulted in a rating. My machine runs fine and works great with real food storage bags, but as soon as I switch…

Update: I had 25% pocket errors. . . Not recommended anymore.

Note: Please read the continuation below. These rolls work well with the FM5000 Series Foodsaver Vacuum Sealer. The textured plastic material seals and holds the vacuum with excellent results. So far I have made many bags of different sizes without any problems. It is good value for money and will help you save money on bag making. 100 feet should be enough for a while. The thickness and quality of the material appears to be as good or better than the original samples that came with the…
