Unfortunately 4 pins did not fit the standard connector. Trying to straighten the plugs was a bad idea; one walked off and made that purchase for free. Bought a much more expensive replacement bulb from an OEM supplier.

I usually buy viqua for trojan system and made the mistake of buying this brand. It died 2 months after installation while I have never had a Viqua brand failure. I change every year, leaving the previous one as a spare. When that one broke I replaced it with a spare Viqua which works great. The filter is used to kill bacteria in the water and when the filter died my entire water supply was contaminated.

The lamp was in stock. After installing Trojan UVMax in my system (which I have done many times over the years) the controller immediately indicated a lamp failure. My mistake is that I tried a cheaper lightbulb with a clear "Made in China" label instead of a well known VIQUA brand lightbulb. I used to always buy VIQUA lamps and they never let me down. They are also made in the USA and packaged much more securely.

The same thing happened to me except both of my tabs broke. I could afford it and hope it lasts a year. Do not use this product - it will not work with all Viqua systems. The replacement LSE UV lamp for my Viqua D4 system did not work. The lamp LED on the controller kept blinking red while the controller LED was green. All procedures were performed correctly (more than once) and although an ultraviolet blue light could be seen in the tube attached to the system, the flashing red light indicating a bad bulb continued to flash. We bought a new home about two months ago that has a Viqua water filtration system installed. To ensure everything is new and up to date we purchased UV lamps, castings and filters and performed a full system clean. The kit arrived quickly and well packaged. I have used their lamps on my Trojan D4 before and everything has worked fine.
