Amazing control of patio heater power

This is a great solution for ANY situation where you need to control the 240V power supply to the specifications of this device. I use it to control the power supply of a 6000W patio heater on a 30A 240V circuit. I control the 110V coil with a fan control countdown switch that you can use on the bathroom fan, but you can use almost any switch you normally use to control 110V, like Wi-Fi switches, programmable or just on off. I went through this because my teenage daughters turned on the mega…

Pros
  • Contactors meet specifications for devices up to 600V AC
Cons
  • No instructions

How to make an old school smart air conditioner 220 Vilt

This amazing product costs $9; especially when paired with a $25 smart switch or smart plug. I've had an air conditioner on 220V since time immemorial. I turned off the circuit breaker. I Cut the 220V cable next to the switch box down to the white cable. 4 wires in one string; red, black, white and green. I just put a contactor between the 220V line breaks. Connect the black wire to the silver screw and tighten or use the female wire, connect and plug into the brass connector of the contactor…

Pros
  • Coils have class B insulation. Resistance Amplifier: 40
Cons
  • I'll write later

Hopefully just a bad apple

I've bought several of these for various control projects and haven't had any problems but one I bought in October 2020 broke last night. There was a good side to his refusal: My alarm system at the well storage, built with parts bought in from Revain, worked like clockwork. Nothing beats a 130dB siren and a flashing red light to get your attention at 11:30pm at night. This relay was commissioned in mid-February 2021 when the previous one was sinking because the wellhead was spraying the inside

Pros
  • Includes ferrules, spade terminals and caps
Cons
  • I'll add later
