Smoothest Paper Ever!

After trying this art paper, I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it was to draw on. The coated surface really helps the colors pop without bleeding or smudging. However, it is a bit expensive for some artists' budgets.

Pros
  • Water-resistant surface helps prevent smudging and smearing
Cons
  • Miscellaneous other

You get what you pay for.

The problem with this paper is that it is too thin for finger painting. If your child uses a thinner layer, it will soak through as if you pour water over it. I will return to more expensive paper.

Pros
  • Glossy non-absorbent paper
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Will not fit Hape easel

One of the few 16" sheets that wasn't very expensive, I bought it for a Hape easel that comes with a 15" roll was supplied (can't find unless you buy expensive Hape paper) It attaches to the crossbar but unfortunately not by clips to keep it in place Works well with crayons although they are glossy With Haven't tried varnish yet, can't attach it so I think my little one will get through this role quickly as he loves rolling the paper down.

Pros
  • 16" x 100' paper roll
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
