This is a fantastic mixed media paper! I have two young artists who each go through ten pages at a time when creating something. It's an unpalatable business given the quality and quantity of the paper. Bought this to make handmade books and/or use for watercolor and mixed media classes with children. It turned out better than expected. It resembles a kind of construction paper. Not thin and not thick to fold. Smoother but not shiny. It absorbs very well but doesn't spread at my microns. I painted on it with watercolors and it worked very well both wet on wet and wet on dry. I bought this paper for my creative kids ages 10 and 11 to make them stop asking about my art paper and canvases when theirs Media no longer linger on papers they had. This paper is perfect for that. Children notice that the paper looks smooth and "fancy". I tested it for myself because I thought it might be a good general practice document.
