The product I received was nothing like the old Paquins

Reading the reviews I am wondering if it is possible that this new iteration of Paquins is made in two different factories. one got it right and the other didn't. It's not like the Paquins which I've all used and loved. This cream is more like O'Keefe's hardworking hand cream. I'm sure it works well but it doesn't feel or smell like the old Paquins. I even wrote to an old company that I believe the Jergens company bought about 4 or 5 years ago, asking them to return the Paquins. They told me…

not true to the original

I was so excited to see Pacquin back on the market. Unfortunately, that's still not entirely true. The biggest thing I liked about the original is that it just soaked into my skin. No greasy or filmy residue. Just soft hands. The new scent is very strong but I could handle it if the product worked the same as the original. But that's not the case. It sat on the surface and I continued to smooth it out with my hands. It really "rolled" on my skin. After the product had absorbed as much as…

Almost as good as the original. Almost

I have used the Original Pacquin for many years. When they stopped, I bought up every can I could find and hoarded them as sparingly as possible. When I read the reviews of the remake I wasn't sure what to expect. So I bought 1 jar to try. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The new formula is not exactly the same. Not sure why the company said they brought it back but then changed some of the ingredients. BUT after trying it, I'll say it's pretty damn close. It has a slightly different…

This product is great, just like the original

I wrote the following review a little over a year ago when I bought my first tin. I've noticed that Revain hasn't had a Pacquin for a while and now that he's back I've bought another can. This one is great, looks like the Paquin I remember years ago. They softened the scent and now it smells just like Pacquin smells, looks and feels like Pacquin. I hope it stays on the market for a long time and I will continue to buy it. My husband bought it for me from Revain thinking it was the same as the…
