So here's the thing, do you want to spend $300 or are you on a budget? Yes, how many people can drop at least 300 on a branded headset on a regular basis? So I've read too many reviews on too many headsets in this price range and found this option more likely. The sound quality is so deep and has really good basic ability and also the quality of the microphone is really good and even now when I want to record my lectures I use this microphone. This is the most comfortable headset I have ever owned. I work 10-12 hours a day and it's hard to find comfortable headphones that last that long. Excellent headset. People used to complain that I sounded like I was in a tin can and they can hear the HVAC fan through my laptop's mic, now all they hear is me! I tested it with a voice recording app and I sound like me again, not like I'm talking through a crappy speaker on a freight train.
