Bad zipper design is good for backpacks

Sorry but it's just irresponsible to put a button placket over the main zipper puller that is supposed to attach to the zipper. Stiffer, thicker, wider or preferably a bead or wire in the fold would have saved this otherwise excellent backpack. I've had four Pacsafe products and each had a fundamental design flaw. Such a shame. Update September 2018: After only 9 months of part-time use, one of the closing zips actually broke in half. No longer locked, so no more security package. Thanks…

Best backpack for 3-4 day hikes

I'm a pretty light packer and can fit 3-4 days here depending on the weather. In summer I will definitely hold within 4 days, in cold weather 3 days. In the inner sleeve there is enough space for clothes, a hygiene bag, an iPad. When I get to my destination, I unpack it and use it for day trips - we live in Germany and travel a lot in Europe and I feel very safe with this backpack. The locking features work well and it has traveled with me to many countries. It's easy, which is a plus for me. I

Blitze.: Luggage and travel gear

Bought for a trip to India after reading reviews. I was looking for a smaller backpack with RFID pockets, lockable zippers, and chest straps for added security. Unfortunately, the backpack has one design flaw: half the time you stuff your stuff in and zip it up quickly to get off the plane or bus is the bar covering the zip pins and the zip pins. You can close it with a different zipper, but then you won't be able to use the security clasp at the top. That's the point of buying this package…

Reliable, reliable and roomy

I like this backpack. I took it with me on a trip to Paris a few weeks ago and really liked it. I've never worried about someone pulling something out of my pocket, even on a crowded subway. The locking mechanism built into the top of the backpack itself was inherently very secure. Without knowing how to open it (the insert included with the backpack explains it well enough), it would be difficult to get into the backpack quickly. I also bought a small luggage combination lock for extra…
