Rough edges for power tools

The material was cut but the edges weren't as smooth. A circular saw with a strong blade was more precise and had smoother edges.

Pros
  • Scissors and punching shears
Cons
  • Some bugs

They work great and cut accurately

I was a little skeptical about connecting them to the drill motor. This takes some getting used to, so I recommend doing some practice cuts. All in all I couldn't be happier. I find my Makita high speed machine works better and I have used both cordless and corded drills. I personally prefer cord. The cuts are very clean and precise. Once I got used to the mechanics, I was able to hold the material with one hand and the drill motor with the other hand.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • I will add later

Disappointed: Power & Hand Tools

I have to say I was disappointed with these wire cutters. I used them for 5/16 Hardie siding. They cut the boards, but not nearly as cleanly in my opinion as they cut and break the boards. They tend to make a mess with extruded trimmings. Getting a straight line is not that easy. I really wanted to like her. I think if you had a workbench where you could pinch the guide to push it down that might be fine, but it didn't even work for me. Just a side note, I had a question with the manufacturer…

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • No Instructions
