The strap attachment is a major flaw.

Media could not be loaded. I got this rain fly for size and price. I would say it was made to keep me dry in Boy Scout camps. The long straps sewn directly onto it, rather than a couple of short strap loops to which they attach, stand out more than I thought. This limits customization options and versatility. It also makes it difficult to evenly tension the sheet. I am sure that these will be the first weak points. It's a shame because otherwise it would have been great value for money. As it…

Good tarp for the price

This is a good raincoat but be aware it is large. Fits well with my Doublenest hammock and has good coverage. It's not difficult, but it's not the easiest either; so it's probably not for the ultralight crowd. I agree with other reviewers that the straps are difficult to adjust and the attached storage bag can collect water when it rains, but this can be remedied by turning the bag inside out. Worth the money if a bit heavy

I thought long and hard about whether it should be 4* or 5* and I'll tell you why - the weight. The raincoat is heavy (that is, from the point of view of a light tourist). However, it is of excellent quality and feels like it will hold up well in inclement weather. I replaced the guy wires with bright yellow 550 paracord to make them more visible in the dark and bought a set of aluminum poles to replace the steel poles that came with Fly-4 aluminum poles, which actually seem lighter than any of
