I was replacing a smaller unit that had seen better days and was dying of old age and my son came and installed the unit that I ordered and received earlier than expected . We were lucky that the old block's bolts and holes matched the new block's and it only took about 15 minutes to install. With this new block there is much more illuminated area. Would buy again.

First, this product is poorly designed. With on-site fastening, the electrical box is also not covered. It needs to be attached to something covering the box and then attached to the building. Other flashlights I bought came with a mounting plate that covered the control box. Second, it failed immediately after installation. Replaces an old flashlight that uses three times more electricity than our old one and seems much brighter. BUT!. We could NOT adjust the wire connection to the light body even when the wires were cut as short as possible. Installation would have been easy if we just inserted the wires into the metal bracket, but that doesn't seem safe.
