Description of Palmgren AP05 0 5 Arbor Press

Delivers the heavy force needed for riveting, squeezing, punching, bending, and other pressing applications. The ram is reversible with one end solid and the other end with a hole and magnet to hold bits and tools. Depth stop, securely clamps to the ram and withstands full pressure. A lockable fine, adjustment adjusting screw accurately limits the depth of the ram stroke. Punches or tools may be added to the end of the ram with the aid of a magnetic insert.

Great Press for Automotive Enthusiasts

After I put it to the test, I can say that this press is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast. It's compact, durable, and easy to use. It has helped me work on my tires and wheels projects with ease. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey compared to other arbor presses on the market. However, it's worth every penny spent. Overall, I would highly recommend this press to anyone who is serious about their automotive work.

Pros
  • Durable construction with a sturdy cast iron frame and heavy-duty steel components.
Cons
  • Not suitable for larger, heavy-duty pressing tasks due to its compact size and 0.5-ton capacity.

Does its job with tire and wheel tools

Also, RAM is installed upside down. How does this happen? Any simple solution will do the trick. Use it for grommets on Kydex sheaths.

Pros
  • Stamps or tools can be attached to the end of the jack with a magnetic insert.
Cons
  • Updates

A little lubrication never hurt anyone.

I bought this to fit frets into a guitar neck that needed a special sealant. When I opened it, the first thing I noticed when I was about to attach the bell was that the ram was upside down, which is why I needed it. A screwdriver in minutes I was in business. He worked pretty well. The only downside I have is that it's quite greasy. Be prepared to wash your hands multiple times and wear clothes you don't like. Otherwise I am a satisfied customer.

Pros
  • Depth stop, rests securely against the piston and withstands full pressure.
Cons
  • Very expensive
