This is my first 2x42 grinder but here are some thoughts I have about it.1. Platform: Mine is not 100% flat. I finished some small 1.5" diameter parts, the center of the product didn't sand because the plate was slightly concave. I bought a steel plate and epoxy glued it to the existing surface and that solved the problem. The part plus shipping costs about $20.
