Disappointing Salad Spinner

After trying this gadget, I was disappointed. Despite following the instructions, the excess water didn't drain well and the berries were crushed in the process. The only positive is that it looks nice on the countertop. Avoid this product if you want a functional salad spinner.

Pros
  • Attractive design
Cons
  • Poor water drainage, crushes berries.

Cheaper through a consultant

Paying 69 here and not having a guarantee would be silly because you can buy it through a spoiled chef for 59.00. Even though the seller here is an 'active consultant', he or she is violating the agreement with the spoiled chef NOT to sell products online!

Pros
  • Twice as a serving bowl and colander
Cons
  • Hard to say

Disappointing - heavy, poor design

Had high hopes but they didn't come true. The top of the spinner is very heavy and easy to fall off if you have arthritis. Not to mention the lip so it doesn't fall into the bowl. The bottom of the bowl is narrow so it can easily tip over. Too much tech for a salad spinner, I'll send it back and buy a string. The shell is acrylic and scratches very easily, it would be better if it was real glass.

Pros
  • Dishwasher safe
Cons
  • Long wait
