🥚 The Pampered Chef Egg Slicer Plus #1182: Effortless Egg Slicing Perfection! Review

I mainly use this for chopping mushrooms and it works great. Even with large mushrooms, the incisors remain dimensionally stable. Other slicers I've used are either broken or deformed. I have had mine for many years and bought these for my daughter in law.

Got this and give it 3 stars. It is very difficult to get back to the cut metal when you take it off to clean it. Climbing is almost bending the metal, and if that happens every time I use it, it's going to break soon. My latest egg slicer from a spoiled chef has lasted for years! The quality has gone down. cheap and not worth the price.

This is a replacement for what my wife bought. I ruined it with that. That's good, but I would hope that it can handle more than just eggs. I used it to cut strawberries. Although they aren't quite ripe, I wouldn't even if the wires snapped from slicing a few dozen nearly ripe strawberries. I wouldn't try anything hard other than eggs or ripe fruit.

After ordering Revane's selection for less money at first, I've returned it to the spoiled chef for a more expensive one. The wires were only attached in one continuous strand and would not close. The first time I cut mushrooms, they all bent! I ended up finding the right style at the grocery store for only $3. It should look like that! The one on the right keeps the wires taut so they can easily cut through eggs, mushrooms, and strawberries.

This Pampered Chef Plus Egg Slicer precisely slices eggs, strawberries, mushrooms and more! The blade wire is strong and sturdy and I like the fact that I can purchase a replacement blade in the future (if needed). So far, after a few months of use, it still cuts great! This makes cooking so much easier! The Pampered Chef brand is of very high quality. Reasonably priced compared to other slicers and gets the job done perfectly!

Before I found this great egg slicer I broke 3 smaller ones in as many weeks. Pampered Chef's product works great and does exactly what it's supposed to do which is chop eggs. a small metal frame that can be pulled out. In the unlikely event that one of the wires ever breaks, you can purchase a replacement wire harness from Pampered Chef for less than the price of a new wire harness. This might be the last egg slicer I will buy in my life. Highly recommended.
