Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

My wife was given a device at the dental clinic so that she could do gum prophylaxis while traveling. As a road it is quite convenient, although not for me to evaluate. They only used it while on vacation. For two years of operation and a total operating time of a month - a month and a half, the device died. Buzzing, but not pumping. Twice they got it, through negligence. I will take it apart and look and definitely buy a new, road one. ate. I partially disassembled the device (pulled the…

The best portable toothbrush on the market

I love this Panasonic portable toothbrush or peak. It's great, has two speeds and runs on 2 AA batteries. It's compact, fits in a pocket and doesn't take up space. Even when traveling abroad, you don't have to worry about adapters. Just take extra AA batteries with you. I've seen Panasonic offer a newer version of this, but twice the price and with a plug-in battery. For the price of a newer one I bought two EW-DJ10-As before they retired it in favor of a new and improved one. Besides what's…

Best thing I've used on floss and chopsticks

Update: A year and a half later and it's still great! I have been using this type of product for over 20 years. I now have three battery powered or rechargeable devices. This is the best I've ever used. It's strong and very compact. It's great for travel, which others I've had haven't. Great, great product.

Nice toy but not a substitute for real dental floss

Weak water flow even on "strong" setting. The small water compartment means you're either in a hurry and saving on cleaning, or need to top up water during use. I don't mind the refills, but ffs, there's no way for that sluggish drop of water to clean between your teeth if you don't have a gap between your teeth. At best, it's a gum massager. I've had sensitive gums since I was a child and dentists have been recommending children's toothbrushes ever since. My gums can bleed when I brush my…

Main design flaw is best in floss & picks

This works fine but has one major design flaw. It is almost impossible to separate the blue water tank from the white power/control part to clean it. Both items will develop mold which cannot be prevented (I even add Listerine (alcohol) with each use). It takes a lot of power (more than I have) to disassemble them and purify the "evil". I drain it and propped it up at an angle to remove as much water as possible. I will buy another brand that is easier to clean.

Quality and efficiency are not the same.

I had an old model and liked it. It has worked flawlessly for many years. I sang her praises! The pressure was just right to clean effectively without being harsh. I didn't hesitate (apart from a few bad reviews) to order the same product. The updated design has 2 speeds while the previous version had one. Came in 2 days (YAY). It was useless. It worked intermittently even after I put in the best batteries. A few seconds on and a minute off. But even when it worked, the water pressure (at any…

Ideal for travelers with compulsive oral hygiene.

Perfect for the oral hygiene obsessed traveler who has an overwhelming urge to blast away troublesome plaque-causing bacteria on a family vacation or business trip. Cordless, light and small (it is foldable). However, I would not recommend it as the sole oral irrigator. With only two speed/power settings, it drains the batteries pretty quickly. Stick with the lower setting unless you don't mind topping up the tank with 5 ounces every 20 seconds. * On a lower setting and a full tank per use, the

How to Make It Perfect

This article is conceptually excellent. It's far more portable than the "portable" Waterpik I'm replacing, and at least as powerful. Some complain that there is not enough water in the reservoir. That's some nonsense. I fill twice for a thorough cleaning at high speed, filling takes two to three seconds. I'm happy to trade it in for a bulky device with a hose. The design is extremely smart - it folds itself and even includes a small corner for storing the nozzle. In fact, it's so clever I just…

After the first month

+ Compact size, easy storage + Clear instructions + Easy to use A regular Panasonic consumer product buyer recently recommended Waterpik to my dental hygienist. Our bathroom has limited counter space, so we chose this compact, portable model. Revain arrived quickly and after a month of use I can say that it has met and exceeded my expectations in every way. It's obviously too early to talk about longevity. While I flossed at least twice a day, sometimes three or more times a day, the included…

This is an excellent product. I recommend it to anyone and everyone

In every way this is an excellent product. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. First, I have found that ANY decent model of oral irrigator/aquaflosser is successful in removing more food debris/deposits from my teeth than just brushing and flossing alone.
