Panasonic HDC SD40K Camcorder Discontinued Manufacturer Review

Bought for my YouTube channel. It was bought to replace my Flip Ultra HD camera. The quality of the video produced is only marginally better than my Flip (although it costs almost three times the price). It's a good camera, but I have some regrets.

camcorder takes very good pictures, excellent high resolution. The only thing that disappointed me is that this particular model has no internal storage and the instruction manual was very confusing. The manual was combined for more than one camera model, so I was looking for something that wasn't even on my camera.

I received the goods on time and in accordance with the stated conditions. I used this product to record indoor sports workouts. He does what I need. I know it's a low budget camcorder, but it works great indoors. The picture quality is just right for me. I think this is a good product for my needs. I found it cheaper at Samy's Camera and brought another one for my friend.

Very good video camera. The only downside is that it's only 1080i. It's not really 540p at 60 fps, it looks like the 540p odd frames are shifted 1/5 time unit from the even ones, not 1 time unit. So you won't get 540p x 60 fps with this camcorder. It's good that we got the porn tapes from the previous owners (black and mexican), they probably sold this camcorder because the SD card ran out.

So I bought this as a budget option for my family. I won't go into the specs, just what you need to know as a regular Joe. Zoom is good @12x, fairly stable when standing but wobbles when walking. The quality of the video really depends on the lighting. When it's dark it has a tiny light which is honestly not great.
