Could never get it to work properly.

After almost 2 years of using two of these base stations together with 6 handsets we still couldn't get the system to work properly. Some phones wouldn't ring, people couldn't hear us, calls dropped, etc. We finally gave up and bought Vtechs.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Problems with KX-TGP600

The phone has stopped working for the second time. We don't hear, but the other side hears us. The first time I restarted the entire phone by removing the battery and it worked again, but now it doesn't work. very frustrating and it's only been 6 months since we bought the phone.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not as reliable as the old TGP500. Sometimes it falls.

Not as reliable as the old TGP500. From time to time the connection to the base will drop and no longer allow calls to the phone, but you will not notice this. Smaller buttons and poorly designed screen layout make it even more frustrating. Stick to the old model.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Discarded

The web interface was easy to navigate, but .

The web interface was fairly easy to navigate, but there was a serious design flaw. When the admin password has stopped working, you can only reset it through the web interface, which cannot be accessed without a password. Catch 22. You need a reset button to go back to factory settings.

Pros
  • Good for many
Cons
  • Fix

Very disappointed with landline

I bought this new cordless phone for my business thinking it was a good solid reliable phone. It's completely opposite. The phone has been acting strange since day one. It didn't charge, the phone just died. When I went to charge it I thought it would help but it didn't. It just didn't work anymore. I bought the phone specifically to walk around the office and still take wireless calls. Neither could it. If I left the office which is literally 12 feet from the base, the signal would disappearโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons

Worst phone I have ever owned

I have purchased several units from Revain and would not recommend this phone due to several issues. The devices are installed on a perfectly configured company PBX based on SIP. The problems described below are not caused by incorrect configuration, but by Panasonic selling a defective product.1. The sound quality is terrible. The phone's internal speaker is too small. The sound is very tinny. If you're familiar with G.722 broadband clarity, this phone will disappoint you. If you use Polycomโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Functional, adaptable and flexible

Last night I set up my KX-TGP600 (3 KX-TPA60 handsets and 1 KX-TPA65 desk phone) with VoIP.ms. say that configuring this phone system and its phones will require some technological intervention. Knowledge of VoIP concepts and terminology is a must and probably NOT a good choice for those who consider "Vonage Business" as an acceptable and cost-effective solution for business communication needs ;) One of the complaints I read here was, that the requirement to switch to the built-in web serverโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
