Not the best choice: office electronics

I bought this phone because of the caller ID feature. The display can only be read if you look closely and the caller ID stopped working after about 3 months. Bad design. Low quality.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • not reliable

Difficult to use Caller ID

I had this phone but had to replace it when it was taken off the counter. I'm just as happy to replace it because I don't like the caller ID. It is difficult to read and manipulate a newly dialed number. Deleting numbers takes longer than our old caller ID. I will look for another phone to replace this one.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Annoys

What a great phone!

We needed a WIRED phone because kids always leave cordless phones somewhere in the basement or under piles of clothes. This phone has a great design that runs on just three AA batteries (unlike other models that require 4), an easy-to-use interface with caller ID, memory, search, adjustable contrast level and clear instructions right in the phone. The ring is beautiful too!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Broke as intended.

Received this phone and sent it back quickly. The problem was that the caller ID wasn't working when I called my Verizon cell phone. I know for a fact that the caller ID gets through as I see it on other phones (including other Panasonic phones!) but this one just says OUTSIDE. Broke as intended. I ended up buying an AT&TModel 858. It's a shame that traditional wired phones have so few options to keep up with the new features. I've been loyal to Panasonic for a long time, but not anymore.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Broken straight out of the box

I was really looking forward to this phone. I needed a phone with caller ID that didn't require an outlet. There isn't much. I respected the Panasonic name, but what I got was terrible. I hung it on the wall at first, but I couldn't read the display while standing next to it. I had to bend about 5 feet off the ground to read the display. To program the phone, I had to grab a chair and sit on it to complete the program. That's when the big problem was discovered. The LCD display is about three…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • boring box
