We went through two couples. Both had soles separated from their shoes at the toes. Nice but not for long. We will look for another brand.

My daughter wore them with her Halloween princess costume for about 3 hours and didn't complain that they hurt her legs. I didn't size up, but it only goes up to the size 10 I bought, so maybe that's why. They fit perfectly. Glitter does crumble a bit but that's the only negative so far.
