Perfect for my crested geckos. They like to be on top and definitely prefer to eat from it than from a small cup on the floor of the enclosure. The magnet is strong enough to hold it firmly to the jar and holds up well under the gecko's weight. This bar is quite small as you can see in the picture. But I knew it would be, I got it for our baby/juvenile crested gecko. Although the quality is great! And the magnet is super strong! I've been using this magnetic food cup holder in my cage for a few months now. Since the gecko needs high humidity at any time of the year, it is constantly exposed to heavy water.
