I've been using this magnetic food cup holder in my cage for a few months now. Since the gecko needs high humidity at any time of the year, it is constantly exposed to heavy water. Despite this, there are not the slightest signs of wear on either the polymer material or the magnet itself. It won't stick to the walls of a glass tank like other mugs, especially suction cups, and the magnet is strong enough to stick to thicker tank walls too. My adult male crested gecko stands all his weight on him when he eats and he doesn't move at all which I want. It holds regular Pangea brand paper cups, but if you don't want to produce waste you can just put raw food straight into this thing. However, be sure to clean it regularly if you do. There are no hidden grooves or anything inside for nasty germs to get in, making cleaning as easy as wiping with a disinfectant wipe or spray.
