Best Audiophile Floorstanding Speakers Review

If you've had real-world experience with quality speakers, you'll know the difference. This isn't the best speaker for music, more of a high quality store-bought HT type. The highs are crisp but a bit thin, the mids are pulled back, the bass is a little muddy, but unless you get a better handle on them you'll think these are great speakers. Even compared to my old pair of 7se MkIIs, they don't deliver the level of musicality that most reviews suggest.

PARADIGM DREAM LAND

Wonderful speakers! The sound quality is impressive. My living room has 12 foot ceilings and tile floors. I'm using an Onkyo that's 120 watts per channel and a 12" Klipsch subwoofer. The mids are amazing. I've listened to Michel Jarre's records and heard sounds I hadn't heard before. They go just as well with all of mine Vinyl and CDs I had a couple of early 1990's Paradigm Studio bookshelf speakers which I also thought were exceptional I also have NHT towers and mini speakers in the other room

Good Looking Speaker

I'm a bit disappointed in them. I have some old Paradigm Titan bookshelves that I was looking to replace when my sub woofer failed. UPS gave them hell during the shipping process. The boxes had large holes and looked like they had seen a war. Fortunately, the speakers were not affected, at least visually. These are very attractive speakers and I had high hopes for the paradigm. Probably overpriced considering they only cost $600. They sounded different than my Titans (which are very good…

Audiophile towers are nothing more than big speakers

I bought some cheap Polk T50 speakers from the big department store for my home theater, but they didn't impress me. After looking at entry-level audiophile speakers, I settled on the Paradigm Monitor SE6000. These towers are surprisingly spacious and open to sound. High frequencies are crisp but not fatiguing, while mid-lows are tight and clear. In movies, it delivers great punch when needed without any distortion. But music. Wow. These towers opened up the widest soundstage I have ever heard…
