Too hot even at the lowest temperature and even when it's off for a while

I bought it after using a professional paraffin bath in carpal tunnel syndrome occupational therapy. It was easy to install, big enough and deep enough. The main problem is the temperature. At the highest temperature the wax melts quickly, but when I turn it off to let it cool the wax starts to harden before it's cool enough to put my hands in. Yesterday an hour after turning off the machine the top was almost hard and I tried to put my hands in to see if it was cool enough but even the waxโ€ฆ

Good for hand therapy

I bought this for heat therapy to restore full range of motion to my index finger after a broken and dislocated finger while mountain biking. The device works well and comes with everything you need and the quality seems pretty good. The wax heats up and melts fairly quickly and there's good temperature control. As a bonus, the wax has a slightly sweet lavender scent that any enduro-soaked mountain biker in recovery mode is sure to appreciate; Even "normal" people will appreciate it.

Good product, bad cap

This was my Valentine's Day present for my boyfriend this year. Below is his review of the product. After much research it turned out that this product will serve me best and I am certainly not disappointed. The quality of everything seems top-notch, including the temperature controls, the accessories that come with it, and the size of the device. Everything you need was included to get started and I was bathing my hands in warm delight before you know it. The wax that came with it was enoughโ€ฆ

Nice upgrade for foot and hand care

We got this to replace an old wax pot. I like temperature control. It melts the wax quickly. Inside metal. i have blue color My only problem is the lid. It's hard to understand as others have mentioned. I solved this problem by adding a handle to the top, I knew about this when I bought it and haven't found any downside to it as the pot is worth it.

Good paraffin wax. Temperature control.

This is the second wax warmer I have ordered. I sent the first one back because it didn't have a temperature control and the wax was so hot I couldn't use it. This one is pretty good though. It has temperature control, the wax heats up quickly. Very good value for money. I would give it 5 stars but the wax provided was good but didn't fill the heating pad very much. I had to order another package. Overall good value for money.

Little Dandy Car

I read the reviews before using. The lid really doesn't lift, but knowing that from the reviews I just used some tape to shape the handle until I could make a stronger crack. As for the temperature. I can't imagine using it without an instant read thermometer. Luckily I have an excellent Thermapen. I heat the wax to max temperature to melt it, turn off the machine and come back after 10-15 minutes to check the temperature. When it reaches 125ยฐF, you're done. I bought a separate wax that gotโ€ฆ
