They seem pretty sturdy and comfortable on the ends. Not sharp. I love using them to pull my hair into a messy French twist. I use them all the time and will order again.

This set is pretty good although it doesn't seem to hold my hair like some of my previous ones. The teeth are well made, neither scratchy nor rough on the scalp. I want them to be a bit stronger so I can use them more easily.

they are better for curly hair (or at least my hair) than other hairstyles. however, they do not necessarily run smoothly. I didn't try sanding down the coating on the teeth like the other reviews did, but I might end up having to :{

I like it! I have a lot of hair but the texture is good. Curls fall out within an hour. When I curl my hair, this comb keeps it in place for hours. This is important for me. So that it doesn't slip out after two hours, I use hair screws, one large or two small ones, and then fix the French twist with a comb. It takes 5 minutes or less and looks like I spent a lot of time on it. I definitely recommend these combs for everyday hair.

A bit flexible so I don't have to worry about styling my hair. I used to have some similar black and brown combs for a french comb, but my hair has run out of color so it doesn't look as good on me. These clear combs are just the right weight to hold my very thick, coarse, straight hair over my shoulders, and their flexibility provides just enough hold to keep my hair from falling out every five minutes without even one to spray solid helmet.

I was looking for a comb for my grey/white hair. It's great and the quality is very good. I highly recommend these combs. Holds my jacket up all day with just a bobby pin and this comb.

This is an easy way to style your medium (or extra) long hair in a sophisticated French twist without using 2 dozen bobby pins. Simply make a small ponytail in your left hand, twist and fold the twisted hair to the right, then insert the comb teeth into the right end of the twist and slide the comb to the left. You can tuck any loose ends neatly or make a cute little curl at the top of the curl. These combs are VERY hard to find in stores now, I don't know why but I'm glad I found them.

Good quality made from durable plastic. Glides easily through hair without snapping teeth. I have long, baby-like, fine hair that falls to mid-chest and I have to use a bobby pin to keep it from falling out. Maybe better for thicker hair but overall I'm happy with the comb. Using a hair clip is no big deal.
