I bought two kits, one of which I always carried in a travel bag and used. In my opinion the best travel paint set.

all but one pencil were off center. Some are very bad. I've sharpened a bit, and one side is still wood! I'm sure the next one will be excellent as Cont'e is of high quality and uses many of their products with no problems. I use other means in my studies, sketching and drawing.

I love this drawing set. The range is very diverse: graphite pencils, black charcoal pencils, colored charcoal pencils and charcoal pencils. I particularly like the colors: carbon black, pierre noir and charcoal are very dark, while sepia and sanguine are thick. However, the white is a bit disappointing. They sharpen fairly well, but don't reach tiny points, except for graphite pencils, which are good for blending. The set is usually well spread with tortillas for shading. I would recommend…

First of all, there are pencils in this set that are good at drawing, but there were some problems. I'd say it's closer to a 3.5, but figured a rounding would be appropriate. Physically the box is nice and the pens look good. The problem I found was twofold. First of all, the two softest pencils were broken when they arrived. When I sharpened them (with a sharpener or a knife) they kept breaking as if the lead in the barrel had been damaged. Don't know if it's shipping damage or general quality
