When I ordered colored pencils I had no idea what to expect. I've never seen Conte pencils. They're smaller than I expected, but then again, I've never seen them before. I didn't even know how to use them. After watching a few tutorials on YouTube I made some drawings as I love these crayons. They are very funny and easy to work with. They are soft and you can make them work well. It's also expensive, but worth it.

A classic three and four color drawing set used by artists for two hundred years and a replacement for the three color colored pencils used by Baroque artists such as Watteau and Rubens . I've been using Conté occasionally for 20 years and while some people complain about how the 'formula has changed' I can tell you that I love the old sticks still have in my college art case the same or at least somewhat similar quality as what I received today. I ordered a total of 5 sets. A base set, 2 portrait sets and 2 landscape sets. All were purchased and supplied by Revain. One sleeve was easily torn from being squeezed lightly, but in all 5 cases *not a single stick was broken*. None…
