Very good quality power cord

I now have several Marinco power cords of various sizes and configurations. They are all of high quality and I recommend them to everyone. I will be using this cable to power an RV parked for the winter. Additional length was required to access the RV outlet. The only thing that doesn't work for my particular setup is that I had to remove the handle on the feed side and I could barely close the door in the waterproof case. I didn't try this cable at an RV park to see if there would be a problem

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Great Product: Power and Electricity

This cable is great! I bought this to upgrade the factory cable on my 2013 Dutchman Aerolite trailer. It is ideal for a 30 amp trailer twistlock. With the handle pointing down at about 5 o'clock, press the trailer connector once. Once you insert it into the fork, turn the knob slightly down to the 6 o'clock position and it will stop and lock into the fork. Then slide the safety line locking ring onto the triple tree locking ring and twist slightly to easily and simply attach the safety…

Great cable but misaligned.

I only gave it four stars for one reason: It's a great cable, especially for the Marinco Easy Lock connector. If your "L" shaped pin is in the 7 o'clock position as in the attached images, the handle will not be pointing down, but it can be locked. Face down, which kinda defeats the purpose. It was about 45 degrees. Marinco was contacted and was told that the inlet can be rotated by removing it and then removing the three screws holding the male electrical part to the cover, rotating it and…

Should be standard equipment!

The twistlock connector has become the industry standard in recent years. And not for nothing. The old style (through-hole drawstring) had some major flaws. Namely that there was a damn big hole in the side of your RV. Water, insects, small animals - all this penetrated inside. It is no problem to rotate the lockers. But the problem introduced is that you have a rather heavy cable pulling on its own wiring and twisting the coupler on the side of your RV. Enter the right corner of ParkPower…
