I've had my Pure 211 air purifier for a little over a year now and I really can't say enough good things about it. It made a huge difference with my daughters allergies and made our house smell so much nicer. When we moved in it was a bit musty because it's an old house and it got rid of the smell completely. Changing the filter is so easy my 7 year old can do it!

We really like our blue air filter. I have it in my basement and it really helps keep the air fresh. That was my first filter change. The filter is expensive, but damn easy to change. Simply remove the top of the filter, take out the filter, unfold and insert the new filter. Put the top back on and you're done. That takes ten seconds. So I ordered a 211+ replacement filter but got 211 which is for an older Blue Air unit. According to the Blue Air website, there are differences in size and features. So you have to be careful what you get. I could send back the wrong filter. UPDATE 5/23/19: Revain customer service rep confirms they are selling 211+. So I ordered again. The box I received had 211 with a "+" sticker on it. I called BlueAir to confirm with UPC and the item that Revain added the "+" sticker to is actually 211+ but

UPDATE: Now rated 1 star. REPLACING FILTERS SMELLS HORRIBLE. I spent about $1000 on Revain for Blue Air filters only when we got lucky and the filters stopped smelling after a week of airing. All other filters smell like "sweet plastic". This is very annoying. If you have these filters at home, your whole house will smell like this. The smell also penetrates your clothes. I have had the Blueair 211+ air purifier for over a year now and am very happy with it. The last replacement filter I ordered was a Blueair brand filter. Once installed and turned on, it immediately gave off a strong chemical smell strong enough to irritate my sinuses. I have my air purifier in the bedroom and the smell kept me awake.
